The Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland is committed to providing the public with the most up-to-date information available on Parkinson's disease, its causes, treatments, and opportunities for maximum wellness.

Educational services include:

The Symposium
The Symposium is held each year in Kansas City in the spring, and in Oklahoma City in the fall. This event allows medical professionals, our members, and interested members of the community to learn about breakthroughs in the treatment and management of Parkinson's disease and its symptoms. Featured speakers include movement specialist disorder trained neurologists, physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dieticians, and bench and translational researchers.

For more information regarding the Kansas City Symposium, please call the Parkinson Foundation office at 913-341-8828.

The members of the Professional Advisory Board also act as content advisors for the Foundation's educational programs.
